▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
