۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
