۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 If he is among the near 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
