▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
