۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
