▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
