۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is of those on the right, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
