▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
