Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
