۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
