▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
