Al-Munaafeqoon 2 of 2

O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own. 9 And spend of what Allah has granted you by way of sustenance before death should come to any of you and he should say: “Lord, why did You not defer my return for a while so that I might give alms and be among the righteous?” 10 But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
