Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
ALL THAT THERE is in the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God. His the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He has power over everything. 1 It is He who has created you all but some of you have accepted the faith and some of you have not. God is Well Aware of what you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto Him is the journeying. 3 He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. God is aware of what is in your hearts. 4 HAVE THE STORIES of those who, in earlier times, refused to acknowledge the truth never yet come within your ken? [They denied it] and so they had to taste the evil outcome of their own doings, with [more] grievous suffering awaiting them [in the life to come]: 5 this, because time and again there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, but they [always] replied, "Shall mere mortal men be our guides?" And so they denied the truth and turned away. But God was not in need [of them]: for God is self-sufficient, ever to be praised. 6 The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah." 7 So believe in God, His Apostle and the Light We have sent down. God is well aware of what you do. 8 On the day when We shall gather you all together (for the Day of Judgment), all cheating will be exposed. Those who believe in God and act righteously will receive forgiveness for their sins. They will be admitted into Paradise wherein streams flow and they will live forever. This certainly is the greatest triumph. 9 But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal. 10
