Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God. His is the Kingdom, and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. 1 He it is Who created you, but one of you is a disbeliever and one of you is a believer, and Allah is Seer of what ye do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto Him is the journeying. 3 He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. 4 Have you not heard the news of those before you who disbelieved? They tasted the mischief of their action, and for them is a painful punishment. 5 This was so because their apostles came to them with clear proofs, but they said: "What. Can a mortal show us the way?" And they denied and turned away; but God was unconcerned. God is all-sufficient, worthy of praise. 6 Those who disbelieve assert that they shall not be raised. Say thou 'Yea! by my Lord, ye shall surely be raised, and then unto you shall be declared that which ye have worked; and that is for Allah easy. 7 So believe in Allah and His messenger and the light which We have revealed. And Allah is Informed of what ye do. 8 The day when He shall gather you unto the Day of Assembling, that will be a day of mutual disillusion. And whoso believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will remit from him his evil deeds and will bring him unto Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph. 9 But as for those who are bent on denying the truth and on giving the lie to Our messages - they are destined for the fire, therein to abide: and how vile a journey's end! 10
