No affliction befalls, except it be by the leave of God. Whosoever believes in God, He will guide his heart. And God has knowledge of everything. 11 Obey God and obey His Apostle. If you turn away, the duty of the Apostle is to convey the message clearly. 12 Allah! There is no god but He: and on Allah, therefore, let the Believers put their trust. 13 O believers, among your wives and children there is an enemy to you; so beware of them. But if you pardon, and overlook, and if you forgive, surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 14 Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward. 15 So fear God as far as you are able, and give ear, and obey, and expend well for yourselves. And whosoever is guarded against the avarice of his own soul, those -- they are the prosperers. 16 If you lend a goodly loan to God, He will double it for you, and forgive you. God knows the worth of good deeds and is clement, 17 Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 18
