He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead). 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you, the while it rocks? 16 Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning. 17 And indeed those before them had denied – therefore how did My rejection turn out! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. 19 Who is there to defend you like an army, besides the Lord of Mercy? Those who deny the truth are in deception. 20 Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts: little is it that you give thanks. 23 Say: “Allah it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you will be mustered.” 24 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 25 Proclaim, “Surely Allah has its knowledge; and I am only a Herald of plain warning.” 26 But when they will behold it proximating sad will be the countenances of those who disbelieve, and it will be said: this is that which ye have been calling for. 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say, "He is the Most Gracious: we believe in Him and we put our trust in Him. You will soon come to know who is in evident error." 29 Say, "Have you not thought that if your water was to dry up, who would bring you water from the spring?" 30
