Al-Mulk 2 of 2
He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? 16 Or are ye secure that He Who is in the heaven will not send against you a whirlwind? Anon ye shall know what wise hath been My warning. 17 Those who lived before them had also rejected Our warning, and how terrible was Our retribution! 18 Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Beneficent (Allah). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything. 19 Who is there to defend you like an army, besides the Lord of Mercy? Those who deny the truth are in deception. 20 Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 What! is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path? 22 Say: 'It is He who has created you and given to you hearing, sight and hearts but little is it that you thank' 23 Say thou: He it is Who hath spread you over the earth, and unto Him ye shall be gathered. 24 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 25 Say: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with Allah alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public." 26 When they see the torment approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will blacken and they will be told, "This is what you wanted to (experience)". 27 Say: "Just think: If God destroys me and those with me, or is benevolent to us, who will then protect the unbelievers from a painful doom?" 28 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 29 Say, "Have you not thought that if your water was to dry up, who would bring you water from the spring?" 30
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
