Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What is the matter with you? How could you judge this to be so? 36 Or do you have a scripture in which you learn 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have We sworn a covenant with you which We are bound to keep till the Day of Resurrection, (a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours)? 39 Ask thou of them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or have they associates if they are truthful. 41 On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able, 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or do they have any knowledge of the Unseen which they are now writing down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 And indeed the disbelievers seem as if they would topple you with their evil gaze when they hear the Qur’an, and they say, “He is indeed insane.” 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
