Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What has happened to you? How do you judge? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That you shall have all that you choose? 38 Or is it that you have a covenant from Us, right up to the Day of Judgement, that you will get all what you claim? 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Or have they associates if they are truthful. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or do you ask from them a reward, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Is with them the unseen, so that they write down? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. 49 But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; 51 But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. 52
