Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The indubitable event! 1 What is the Indubitable? 2 And what will make you know what the Reality is? 3 The people of Thamud and Ad denied the Day of Judgment. 4 So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]. 5 and as for Ad, they were destroyed by a wind clamorous, 6 that He subjected upon them for seven nights and eight days consecutively and you might have seen them struck down as if they were the stumps of palm trees that had fallen down. 7 So do you see any survivor among them? 8 And there was Pharaoh, too, and [many of] those who lived before him, and the cities that were overthrown - [all of them] indulged in sin upon sin 9 and rebelled against their Sustainer's apostles: and so He took them to task with a punishing grasp exceedingly severe! 10 Lo, when the waters rose, We bore you in the running ship 11 That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. 12 Then when the Horn is blown with one blast 13 And the earth and the mountains are borne away and crushed with a single crushing. 14 On that Day will come what is to come. 15 and heaven shall be split, for upon that day it shall be very frail, 16 And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]. 17 On that Day you shall be exposed, and no secret of yours will remain hidden. 18 So whoever is given his book in his right hand he will say, “Take, read my account!” 19 "Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!" 20 So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing. 21 In a lofty garden, 22 The fruits of which are near at hand: 23 Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past! 24 But whosoever gets his ledger in his left hand, will say: "Would that I were never given my ledger, 25 "And that I had never known, how my Account is? 26 "I wish, would that it had been my end (death)! 27 My wealth hath not availed me, 28 "My power has perished from me!"... 29 It will be said, “Seize him, and shackle him.” 30 And then expose him to hell-fire 31 And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. 32 Indeed, he did not use to believe in Allah, the Most Great, 33 “And did not urge to feed the needy.” 34 So no friend has he here this Day, 35 Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; 36 that none but sinners eat' 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
