But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
