Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by that which ye see. 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
