So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
