Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
