Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
