I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and by that you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
