Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by that which ye see. 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
