What is wrong with the disbelievers who roam around you (Muhammad), 36 [coming upon thee] from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
