What aileth those who disbelieve, toward thee hastening. 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44
