But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised - 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
