But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan). 41 Therefore leave them, involved in their indecencies and play, till they confront their day which they are promised. 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
