Noah said: “My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 and said: 'Do not renounce your gods, do not leave waddan or suwa'an or yaghutha, or ya'uqa, or nasra' 23 And they have led many astray. (Noah supplicated saying): 'Allah, do not increase the harmdoers except in error' 24 Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire, and they found none to help them instead of Allah. 25 And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 "O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition!" 28
