28 verses, revealed in Mecca after A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf) before Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Say, (O Prophet), it was revealed to me that a band of jinn attentively listened to (the recitation of the Qur'an) and then (went back to their people) and said: “We have indeed heard a wonderful Qur'an" 1 that guides to the Right Path. We believe in it and we will not associate anyone with our Lord. 2 'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. 3 The ignorant fool among us has spoken outrageously against Allah, 4 'And verily, we thought that men and jinns would not utter a lie against Allah. 5 'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly. 6 So they began to think, even as you do, that God would not resurrect any one. 7 'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. 8 And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him; 9 we cannot tell if this bodes evil to those who dwell on earth or whether their Lord intends to guide them. 10 And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways. 11 We have realized that we could never thwart God on earth and that we would never be able to thwart Him by flight. 12 ‘And that when we heard the guidance, we accepted faith in it; so whoever accepts faith in his Lord, has no fear – neither of any loss nor of any injustice.’ 13 And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course. 14 And as for the Qasitun (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell, 15 Had they (jinn and mankind) remained steadfast in their religion (Islam), We would certainly have given them abundant water to drink 16 So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment. 17 and that “mosques belong to Allah, so do not invoke anyone with Him”; 18 Yet [thus it is] that whenever a servant of God stands up in prayer to Him, they [who are bent on denying the truth] would gladly overwhelm him with their crowds. 19

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
