Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say: "Verily, no one could ever protect me from God, nor could I ever find a place to hide from Him 22 except a deliverance from Allah and His Messages. He who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Gehenna, which he will be in for ever. 23 Till, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who it is that is weaker concerning helpers and less important concerning numbers. 24 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or if my Lord hath set a distant term for it. 25 He is the knower of the Unknown, and He does not divulge His secret to any one 26 Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers 27 That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number. 28
