Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: 'Indeed, I possess no power over you, either for harm or for guidance' 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 (Mine is) but conveyance (of the Truth) from Allah, and His messages; and whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger, lo! his is fire of hell, wherein such dwell for ever. 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 "He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- 26 Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
