Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 Warn the men. 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were startled donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
