Nay, by the Moon 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except those of the right hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir). Sent down in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
