No! By the moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
