No, by the moon! 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 From the guilty. 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
