I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 it is a warning to man, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
