No! By the moon 32 by the retreating night, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 A warning to mortals, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About the criminals, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
