Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the receding night 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.
