Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ NAY! I call to witness the Day of Resurrection! 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching soul. 2 Do men think that We shall never be able to assemble their bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 Nay! man desires to give the lie to what is before him. 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 At length, when the sight is dazed, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed. 8 when the sun and moon are gathered together 9 on that Day man will ask, "Where can I escape?" 10 By no means! NO refuge! 11 The only place of refuge will be with God. 12 On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind. 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Although he tender his excuses. 15 Do not move your tongue with it to make haste with it, 16 Ours it is to gather it, and to recite it. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 and look forward to receiving mercy from their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 thou mightest think the Calamity has been wreaked on them. 25 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 26 And they will say, “Is there any one any magician?” 27 And he will realise that this is the parting. 28 and is enwrapped in the pangs of death 29 that will be the time to be driven to one's Lord. 30

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
