Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ By the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 So when the sight becomes dazed, 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 on that Day the human will ask: 'To (which place) shall I flee' 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 Indeed, man shall be a witness against himself, 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 MOVE NOT thy tongue in haste, [repeating the words of the revelation:] 16 Ours it is to gather it, and to recite it. 17 So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Human beings certainly do not want to pay much attention to the Quran. In fact, they love the worldly life 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 On that day, some faces will shine with freshness. 22 looking towards their Lord; 23 Others will be despondent, 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 26 and it is said: 'Who is a healing chanter' 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 at that time towards thy Sustainer does he feel impelled to turn! 30
