Because, he neither believed nor prayed; 31 But [instead], he denied and turned away. 32 Then he went back to his home in pride. 33 Alas the woe for you, alas! 34 Again your ruin has come close, still closer. 35 Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim? 36 Was he not a small seed in the seminal elements, 37 Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. 38 And assigned it sexes, male and female. 39 What, is He not able to quicken the dead? 40
