But he did not verify the Truth, nor did he observe Prayer; 31 But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away! 32 and then went arrogantly back to what he had come from. 33 Woe to you, and woe! 34 and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer! 35 Does man think that he will be left alone to himself, free? 36 Was he not a sperm-drop spilled? 37 Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion. 38 and fashioned out of it the two sexes, the male and the female? 39 Is not That One then Able to quicken the dead? 40
