And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed. 31 but, on the contrary, he gave the lie to the truth and turned away [from it,] 32 and then went arrogantly back to what he had come from. 33 Alas the woe for you, alas! 34 and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer! 35 Does man think that he will be left neglected? 36 Was he not just a drop of the semen that is discharged? 37 which then became a leech-like clot; then God shaped and fashioned him in due proportion, 38 And made him in two sexes, male and female. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
