Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And worship Him (a portion) of the night. And glorify Him through the livelong night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills; indeed Allah is All Knowing, Wise. 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
