It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages. 23 so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever. 24 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Surely these men love the hasty world, and leave be behind them a heavy day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change. 28 Surely this is a Reminder; so he who will, takes unto his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way]: for, behold, God is indeed all-seeing, wise. 30 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
