In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known calculated term. 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 The living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
